Free for a limited time only: *Fabulous short story* – 5 Star Review – FAITHFUL is: “Saucy, not sleazy. Had me hooked from start to finish.”

HUGE thanks to Karen, for her fabulous review of FAITHFUL on Amazon! I’m so thrilled you enjoyed your reading experience.

FAITHFUL is the first in the series of a ‘Mid-life crisis’ and as you can see, in more detail below, Karen has said;

“I started reading with trepidation.  After all a mid-life crisis from a man’s point of view might not be what I wanted to know about!  However the innuendos, erotic references and well written prose had me hooked from start to finish.  Highly recommended read.

I guarantee you’ll be hooked!

Karen review

Fidelity, the second book in the series (delves much deeper into the mid-life crisis and the fantasy’s that arise) is due for release later this year.

p.s This is an alternative book cover and features Matthew Faithful, a successful boat designer – trouble is he’s been working just that little bit too hard…

‘Her dignity is saved by a bold print of large crimson-yellow sunflowers…’

Welcome back fellow readers, authors and fantasists.  Are you enjoying the ride of your life, on my roller coaster of a mid-life crisis?

Is your husband’s secretary, a blonde-bombshell, coming on to him at every opportunity, or is she just suffering her own mid-life crisis? And maybe not flashing her cleavage or sticking her butt out whilst picking up something from the floor? It’s probably just his imagination or maybe just a fantasy?

20130512-162651.jpg

The following is extracted, with pleasure, from Chapter 3 – My first glimpse of Annabelle

As I wipe the Faithful family’s sorrow from my eyes, I catch my first glimpse of Annabelle – not the black widow I was expecting, but a vision of loveliness wrapped up, like a fancy gift, in a sheer summer dress. Her dignity saved by a bold print of large crimson-yellow sunflowers, strategically placed over the cotton garment, creased like crepe paper, hugging her mid-term bump and stretched over her enhanced double dee breasts. Her sweet honey blonde, flowing naturally over slender shoulders, with lips like plums – ripe for the picking and the sweet enticing scent of ‘Euphoria’ brought to me by the hazy heat wave. As I lip-read her pearly white welcome, I’m consumed with jealousy. I want to push him aside, to cosset her pain and frustration. I feel compelled to yell out, to warn the man in grey, but it’s too late as the snatched door defeats me. Once inside, folding himself up behind her at the bottom of the stairs, he presents his ID badge, “Neil Cooper,” he mumbles, bending down to unlace his size eleven’s…

Faithful is available for download on Amazon Kindle, dig deep into my blog for some very good reviews and why not purchase a copy for yourself?  It’s enlightening and entertaining.

Fidelity, my second adventure in the series, will be coming soon!

“Neil’s eyes are drawn to the cold, matrimonial bed. The ejected, ransacked drawers tell an oh sorry tale…”

Welcome back fellow readers, authors and fantasists, are you enjoying the ride of your life; on my roller coaster of a mid-life crisis?

Is your husbands secretary a blonde-bombshell, coming on to him at every opportunity, or is she really just suffering from her own mid-life crisis? And maybe not flashing her cleavage or sticking her arse out whilst picking up something from the floor? It’s probably just his imagination or a fantasy..?

20130512-162651.jpg

Extracted, with pleasure, from Chapter 4 – It’s plenty big enough.

…“Matthew sleeps on the left,” she gestures like a theatrical actress, “…always has done.”

Neil’s eyes are drawn to the king-size bed, immaculately dressed with plumped up pillows and a frilly valance and Matthew’s personal belongings perfectly placed on the pine bedside-table: a ship-builder’s manual, glasses case and a red and white envelope torn apart with match tickets spilling out.  Each item carefully placed just like a shrine but the ejected, ransacked drawers tell a very different story…

Over the other side of the bed, ‘Fifty Shades’ in paperback, age-defying eye-cream, half a glass of water and a fallen bottle of ‘Diazepam’ with just a few pills remaining, scattered like little golf balls around her wedding ring.  Out of sight, in the ottoman at the bottom of bed, beneath discarded copies of fashion and home-style magazines, is evidence of a tantrum having taken place; torn up credit-card receipts, a clear plastic bag (the type you use in the airport) of Matthew’s personal effects handed to her at the police station along with his mobile phone – it survived the impact but not Annabelle’s inquisition, now smashed up like a jigsaw puzzle into a million pieces…

Welcome back fellow readers, authors and fantasists, hope you’re enjoying life’s roller coaster adventure ride…

How many men do you know who fantasise? Do you? Or do you suspect someone who does? Is your / his secretary really a blonde-bombshell, coming on to you / him at every opportunity, or is she really just suffering from a similar mid-life crisis? Certainly not flashing her cleavage or sticking her arse out when picking up something from the floor? It’s probably be just your imagination or is it..?

I’m usually naked but more commonly wiped with a glossy smudge…What am I?

I’m usually naked but more commonly wiped with a glossy red smudge…What am I?

I come as a pair – I can be black, I can be white
But certainly not prejudiced or known to cause a fight.
I can be swollen, toothless, or even paid for shiny white.

I’m contagious and outrageous, but I don’t crave a cure or even bear a grudge.
I’m often naked but more commonly wearing a glossy red smudge.
I don’t require a translator
But I do say, “See you later!”

I always leave a tell-tale sign of a good time
A kiss may be amiss in this rhyme?
But a happy line or two is just fine.

For rest assured, as night follows day
I’ll have the last say.
As along with laughter
I can help you live forever-after!

Happiness starts with a SMILE, please pass one on!
